See our TEST YOUR KNOWLEDGE section. Give everyone in your office or work environment one of the question sheets and then compare answers from the answer sheet and see who wins this.
MONTHLY COMPETITIONS
Run a monthy competition - asking an HIV/AIDS related question and have a draw at the end of the month with a prize for the WINNER. Above is one of our monthly winners at Mercedes Benz South Africa. He walked off with a R100 prize. But hey, it does not have to be a hectic prize - a cake or a chocolate or a gift voucher.......anything to spur people to enter a competition.
Here are some sample questions for competitions (True or False):
1. The HI virus multiplies within 3 months of entering the body. True or False?
2. TB is the most common opportunistic infection for those infected with HIV in Africa. True or False?
3. HIV & AIDS is the same thing. True or False?
4. The HI Virus only lives in semen, blood and vaginal fluid. True or False?
Come on.... you can think of some questions tooooo......... but make the questions a little challenging to spur people into finding out the correct answer. Nothing like creating a little confusion and forcing people to REALLY THINK HARD!!

" TREE OF LIFE" - FOR WORLD AIDS DAY

No. 2
Here is another version on the one above. During December put up a tree with a box of little matchbox presents wrapped in a box which is marked, THE GIFT OF LIFE. Have a notice which says, "Give yourself, your family, your community and your country, the Gift of Life. You can do this by knowing your HIV status. If you know your status, please attach a present to the tree. We will count the number of presents at the end of the month.................
